Bar None is an annual musical variety show sponsored by the Dallas Bar Association and Dallas Bar Foundation and supported by local attorneys and law firms. Bar None features hilarious skits, songs and dance numbers for our audiences. Bar None raises funds for the Dallas Bar Foundation’s support of the Sarah T. Hughes Scholarships at the Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, UNT Dallas College of Law, and Texas A&M University School of Law. To date Bar None has raised over $3 million for the Hughes Scholarships.
About the Sarah T. Hughes Scholarship
Established in 1981, the Judge Sarah T. Hughes Scholarship by the Dallas Bar Foundation was created to to expand access to the legal profession in Dallas and better reflect the socio-economic backgrounds of the community it serves. Originally awarded to students entering SMU Dedman School of Law, it has expanded to include UNT Dallas College of Law and Texas A&M University School of Law attendees. With nearly $3 million awarded to date, these scholarships empower first-generation college graduates and foster success, honoring Judge Hughes' legacy of determination.
